Daedong participated in AISTech 2006  (The Iron & Steel Technology Conference and Exposition) 

which was hold in Cleveland in Ohio, USA during May. 1 ~ 4, 2006 and exhibited “Guide Roller Recycling Type” which is installed at Continuous Casting Segment.

Daedong  improved the CC Guide Roller Structure and realized marvellous maintenance cost down. 

To change existing shell type Roller to new type Roller which be dividable for 3 parts easily by adopting of new type connection joint. 

Almost every part of Roller (Roller body, Bearing, Connector, Coupling, Cover, etc. )  can be reused after repair.  

Also enlargement of cooling capability by improving inside cooing path made longer of life cycle of Roller Our client POSCO achieved remarkable maintenance cost saving. 

For this result, Daedong received Benefit Sharing Incentive from POSCO in 2005
